Stimulus Bill - Fact or Farce

Riddle me this, how many jobs did the $787 billion (that magically became $819 billion) emergency stimulus bill actually create? Go research your answer and then come back. I’ll wait right here. Pause… Time passes…

Okay, back with your number? Did you go to Recovery.com to find your answer? Is your number some where around 2.6 million (maybe between 2.1 and 2.8 million)? If you went to President Obama’s Recovery.gov website you will find that he is claiming that his stimulus bill has created (or saved) some 2,679,043 jobs (i.e. 633,189; 608,078; 682,322 and 755,454 jobs for the last four quarters). If accurate the tax payer only paid about $300,000 per job created.

In reading the book, “The Coming Insurrection” by The Invisible Committee I found quite a few things that I saw happening here in America. Used as part of the evidence in an anti-terrorism case in France, this book tells us how the progressives think. They believe in anarchy, completely and totally: until they get what they want. Then everything changes. What is it they want? They want to be in charge.

They don’t want “equality”. That’s for the bourgeoisie. They don’t want “freedom”. That’s for those who think too small. They want anarchy: murder, mayhem, burning whole cities if necessary to put them in charge.

Democrat Vote Buying

Talk about vote buying and walk-around money! The Democratic party is now pushing a $26,000,000,000 bill to keep 140,000 of its primary voters (teachers and other union members) employed. Let’s assume for a minute that there will actually be 140,000 persons employed. Yes, yes, I know, not a single one of the “stimulus” or “jobs” bills passed by the Democrats has come close to providing as many jobs as they claim. But let’s assume they get this one right (yes, yes, I know, it would be an absolute miracle but lets just pretend for the moment).

This works out to $185,000 per vote – I mean per job. This equates to about $125 per hour of work! No wonder the USA is in debt and sinking rapidly. And no wonder the union keeps voting for Democrats - I mean $125 per hour is one tremendous salary for teachers. . . or almost anyone else in the lower, middle, or upper middle class.
