House Vote on debt ceiling compromise passed 269 -161

At the start of the vote

Republicans were present 240

For 174  Against 66

Democrats were present 193

For  95  Against 95  No Vote 3

  3. Just going by the numbers, I don't know who voted how.. but it looks like most to the TEA coalition held...

    Even so there was more opposition from the dems, than the GOP

  5. thank you for the video of g. giffords. what a miracle! she is golden. i don't care that she voted w/ the dems, i just care that she is still w/ us & getting better each day.
    i happen to like everything that darrell issa said. he seems to have a hold on sanity. his statement that we will build on this bill to reduce spending is indeed a start to recovery. god bless us all, alphamom
