Day after Thanksgiving

Sorry I've been so lax about posting - it's particularly busy around the house this week and I've been sparring with Markle on PNJ about anything and everything.  So much fun.

I am so concerned about this Korean situation.  When my hubby was in Korea in 68-69, there were 600 military killed in the 14 months he was there.  You just didn't hear about it because of the concentration (rightly so) on the Nam situation.  The US has a reciprocal treaty with South Korea, so if they go to war, we're going to be smack in the middle.  North Korea is trying to prove they are a force to be reckoned with and the situation seems to be as dangerous, if not more so, than what's going on in the middle east.  Sigh.  Wars and rumors of wars.

Well, gotta run - we're eating our Thanksgiving meal today and I have to be at the grocery store a 7 am sharp!

I pray everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving.  Old Lady.

  1. You ain't the only one concerned, I am too. For 63 years Korea has been one miscalculation away from War. Since shortly before Obama's election the North has been increasingly more aggressive..

The sinking of the South Korean Warship a few months ago and the shelling of Yeonpyeong Island a few days ago are acts of war...

Treating the two Koreas like children and telling them to play nice as both VCinia and The US have done.. isn't going to solve anything.
