Once again the Mainstream Media proves that liberals are incapable of seeing past race..  If they were they wouldn't make such a production of of it..  In their limited world everything is defined by race, gender, sexual orientation and and religion.

I think Frank Schaeffer guy missed something about God--or anyone else not listening, when he taked about Perry.  Last week Obama gave a speech to calm a rattled stock market.  The Market responded by dropping 200 points while he was talking, and another 200 after they'd had a chance to think about what he'd said.. Does't sound like God or Stock Brokers listen to the President..

Schaeffer is a guy who hates everything remotely conservative... From the way he talks about his father, and his own religious training it sounds like there may be some deep seated issues.. This is a Schaeffer Quote from An Open Letter to the Republican Traitors

You Republicans are the arsonists who burned down our national home. You combined the failed ideologies of the Religious Right, so-called free market deregulation and the Neoconservative love of war to light a fire that has consumed America. Now you have the nerve to criticize the "architect" America just hired -- President Obama -- to rebuild from the ashes. You do nothing constructive, just try to hinder the one person willing and able to fix the mess you created.

The Evangelical/Republican base is also ready to back Gambler McCain even though his choice of running mate is just another irresponsible gamble, roll of the national dice for personal political gain. Evangelicals will vote for a white man, even if he has shown himself to be recklessly unpatriotic, as has McCain instead of a black man who had the good sense to choose a qualified running mate.

Needless to say he rants endlessly about the lack of civility from the Political Right... He clearly has a problem with race, he deals with it by projecting his beliefs onto other people.  He tries to disguise  it by tell people he knows what  the Right thinks Because he used to think think that way himself.

The only reason I can think of MSNBC would bring someone like that on to discuss the candidates is to try and promote racial hatred.


I happened to see the video with Schaeffer a couple minutes after a watched this video of a CNN reporter ask this question to Herman Cain..

If Lemon had done his homework he might have noticed that while Cain isn't at the front of the pack he polls better than some of those white folks in trying to get the nomination in a mostly white party..  He's also know that Cain got some good across the board reviews for his preformance at the debate last night..

So what was the point of the question?

I'm sure that many of the folks on the left, will quickly denounce this as a modern version of McCarthyism which is fine.  Most Americans don't know, and neither the media or the Democratic Party is in any hurry to tell them, Joe McCarthy was much closer to the truth than anyone guessed..  Much closer.

In 1995 an entire series of  National Security Agency  intercepts were declassified.  Known as the Verona  Papers roughly 2,900 documents,  (a deliberately meaningless code phrase) The documents were were radio messages from the top KGB agents in Washington and New York to their superiors in Moscow from sometime in 1943 into 1948.

But by far the greatest villain among Red-hunting politicians was, of course, Wisconsin's Republican senator Joseph McCarthy, who raised the issue of Communists in government in February 1950 and rode it triumphantly for four-and-a-half-years, acquiring an immense popular following, until the Senate itself voted to "censure" him in December 1954. Communist infiltrators and spies have been with us since the 1920s  Even the American Civil Liberties Union was started as a communist front.. They decided to drop their ties with communism and the Soviets in 1948 when Joe McCarthy started looking closely.. You can read about that here  It shouldn't come as much come as much of a surprise to find that the issues promoted by the Communists and the issues that find their way into the Democratic Party's rhetoric are often very similar..

Today those issues include Freedom From Religion, Automatic Citizenship for Illegals, The Promotion of Homosexuality by the Government and more control over education while reducing parental influence

Picture or Action - which is worse?

One elected official takes photos of himself in various provocative poses including one of his manhood. He sends these photos to a few select ladies, the youngest is purported to be 17 years old but one is 26 and another is a porn star. To date there are no allegations that he broke any actual laws. Following this the airways ring with cries for him to resign and that he is unfit. Finally he does resign after pressured from every direction including his party.

Another elected official (the same party no less!) actually uses his manhood with an intern (who actually works in his office). The intern is about 24 years of age. The major media (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, NYT, etc) and his party rallies around him in full fledged defense. This is a matter between him and his wife they cry. This elected official lies (under oath) and clearly had sex with a subordinate and tells his staff to come out and defend him (and they do).

One man has his secretary conceal evidence. The other urges a porn star to tweet a lie (but not under oath). One is forced out and one is defended – but the one that committed the actual crimes is the one defended and the one that simply sent photos and urged a lie (not under oath and not to an officer) is hounded out of office.

Only in the Democratic Party would the criminal be defended while the one engaging in questionable (but legal) conduct is hounded out of office.
