No warm welcome? No Southern Hospitality ???
Past the throngs of people in red white and blue, waving American flags.
Past the thousands of motorcycles.
Past the coolers and lawn chairs.
Past the signs reading "Nashville: No place for hate" and "God loves Sgt. Kevin Balduf."
There's a young man wearing marine dress blues, lying in a coffin.
A line of people solemnly walk by the man. Sgt. Kevin Balduf, a father of two, died in combat, fighting for his country.
He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Depends on how you look at it

Not sure why the cops escorted the Westboro Trio out of town, looks to me like there were plenty of Tennesseans willing to do the job
The 4 perps in question are extremely lucky that all they received were slashed tires and the escort out of town. Tennesseeans do not take kindly to such vile hatred when it comes to a fallen son, brother, or friend. The Patriot Guard is also very active throughout Tennessee.

It just amazes me that people can be so full of hate, especially people claiming to be Christians. I am a Baptist, and I don't know anyone who thinks or acts this way. It's shameful.
ReplyDeleteRighthook, I'm a christian, I was raised as a Southern Baptist..
ReplyDeleteThese people are not Christian, Baptist or harmless
