Breaking News....

Education Reform now has another Billionare Supporting it..  Seems like Robert Murdoch wasn't content to let Bill Gates have all the fun, and make all the profit...

On tuesday the owner of News Corp, whih happens to include giants like FOX News Network and the Wall Street Journal madt the following announcement according to Business Insider...
The Future of American Education: A Presidential Primary Forum."

The joint effort with the College Board will pit "all Republican primary candidates who meet a threshold level of support in national polls" against each other.

The Wall Street Journal's Paul Gigot and Joel I. Klein, former Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education and current CEO of News Corp's education division will moderate the panel.

Mudoch just happens to own Wireless Generation, an education software company.  Currently Bill Gates seems to own the Presidents Education Reform Ideas,,,  Clearly Murdoch wants a piece of the action,,  That piece could be in the tens of billions a year..


  1. It should haave been an easy target... a sweethart deal between the Obama administation and Bill Gates... Maybe not quite illegal but close enough it should have drawn attention from FOX, It didn't..

    Possibly because Mudoch wanted a slice of the pie himself..

  2. Gates, Pearson, Broad, Zuckerberg of Facebook fame, and a whole bunch of software companies in line, why not Murdoch? Another one who controls what news gets to the public. We'll see what he allows FOX to cover. At a minimum, Grumpy readers who watch will have background knowledge and will not be so easily fooled.

  3. I think at the moment Gates is high bidder, but it will be interesting to see who ends up owning American Education
