After scaring Obama into proving he had a birth Certificate, and getting himself featured in and on countless news shows, editorials, blogs and  Donald Trump decided he'd stick with making money, instead of diving his critics nuts.  This could make it tough for the pundits..  Sara Palin's been fairly quiet lately, now the Donald's out of it..  Who are they going to decide is the next easy distraction... Donald Trump says he won't run in 2012

The publicity-loving New York developer and reality-TV star pulled the plug on his would-be 2012 presidential run Monday afternoon, saying he still believes he'd be best for the job but that he's not ready to give up on making money in the private sector.

The move came after NBC officials, whose network his "Celebrity Apprentice" airs on, said they would have an answer within 24 hours as to whether or not The Donald would be back for another season next fall.

And it happened just two days after Trump made a cameo appearance on Mike Huckabee's show after the 2008 Iowa caucuses winner also opted to forgo a run.

Trump released a statement shortly after 12 p.m.
