  1. Madpole - My deepest sympathy to you and Tyler's parents. All kids need to outlive their parents and grandparents. I know nothing can relieve your pain. I am so sorry.

  2. Madpole, Having lost my nephew at a young age I know your pain. I to know that there is nothing I can do to relieve it and while it will diminish over time it will never completely go away. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

  5. Needless to say, my heart goes out to madpole and his family. This is not supposed to happen. I hate to see young people go before all of us older folks. It is not fare.

  7. Madpole,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a child is the worst thing in the world to happen. I can't imagine how bad it must hurt. Our prayers are with you and your family. God bless you.

  8. Footprints in the Sand - Poem

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
    when I was suffering from
    anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
    “You promised me Lord,
    that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”
    The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
    is when I carried you.”

  10. From the father of Tyler Kowalczyk : I want to thank everyone for the kind words in this, the darkest of times. Nothing will ever be the same, and I will never recover. I can only count the moments until we can be reunited in the Kingdom of heaven. Everyone asks me if there is anything they can do, and the answer is please hold onto your babies. Hug and hold them tight and cherish every day you have with them, and pray you never have to lose them,, I will love Tyler every day he is gone, just as much as I did when he was in my arms. Never stop living your lives for your kids, they need us..
