Direct Seafood Outlet

Ok I'm biased but I think this is the only place to buy seafood. Direct has been in business for over 30 years. You may remember when it was located on the west end of the Eau Gallie causeway near the bait shop. They moved to their present location in 1993.

DSO supplies most of the restaurants and markets from Flagler to Ft Pierce and we are moving into the Orlando Market. Because we sell 30 to 50 thousand pounds of fish per week it never hangs around long enough to get old.

Our Melbourne location doesn't have open cases, folks just order from the menu board and the boys in the back fillet it from the big fish, bag it on ice, drop in a fresh lemon and you're on your way. The Merritt Island location has beautiful show cases, (we rotate their fish daily) and a lovely restaurant. I have to say they have the best fish taco in town. Their sushi is becoming well known in the north part of the county.

We carry a full line of fresh and frozen seafood. Our steaks are hand cut and the chicken is the best deal in town. We have an eclectic assortment of items from Gator meat to Rabbit.

If you come in make sure to tell the bookkeeper hi. She's a little "fishy".

  6. Any successful restaurateur will tell you that they created their concept because it's the type of restaurant they love to eat at. If you create a restaurant because you think it'll be popular or because a silent partner convinced you to -- beware. Seafood Naples
