Early Start to Draft Hillary

It looks like a a dentist from Obama's Chicago Home Town is is trying to start a draft Hillary in 2012, before we get to the 2010 elections, .

William DeJean is a  Chicago Dentist, who knows He's a dentist, thinks the Country is headed the wrong way.. and he's willing to put his money where his mouth is.  He's launching a TV ad Campaign in first in New Orleans, then Washington, New York,  Los Angeles and possibly Houston as well

No he's not a Republican Plant.  He's a big Hillary Fan and always has been, he contributed to her 2008 run.,

If nothing else this is an embarrassment to the White House, this guys from Chicago..   Is it something more?.  This type advertising, this close to the election, cannot be good for Obama's, if the advertisements draw a positive reaction from moderate democrats, it will signal that the party has issues it needs to fix, fast

Dentist starts 2012 ad race by touting Hillary Clinton for president

This could make for awkward chatter at the White House: Even before the 2010 midterms are over, a Chicago dentist has started the 2012 ad race with a spot that supports Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president.

The $5,000 ad began running on television in New Orleans on Wednesday, CNN reports, and it will soon run in Washington, New York and Los Angeles, and possibly Houston, said William DeJean.

Asked why he paid to create and run the ad, DeJean told CNN, "I don't think this country is headed in the right direction. ... I think she is the most qualified

This is the spot prepared for NBC, for those of you who never read the linked articles.

Hillary Clinton for president ad hits airwaves

CNN: "She has more experience working in and with the White House than most living presidents. She is one of the most admired women in our nation's history. Let's make sure the president we should have elected in 2008 will be on the ballot in 2012. Hillary 2012: Hillary Clinton for President. Start now. Where there's a Hill there's a way," says an ad that began running on television in New Orleans Wednesday.

And Finally from CBS
First 2012 Ad: Hillary for President

There's plenty of speculation over who will run against President Obama in 2012 -- but few expect it to be anyone from his administration.

Nevertheless, the first television ad for the 2012 election supports Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president.

A Chicago dentist named William DeJean spent $5,000 to create the ad, which is currently airing in New Orleans, CNN reports. DeJean plans to run the ad in Washington, New York and Los Angeles and possibly Houston as well.

I first posted this on Grumpy late last night, but didn't want to post it elsewhere with out a little more information and confirmation.  I got the additional confirmation from CBS this morning.  I still haven't learned much about William Dejean.. so it any one happens to know where we can find factual information.. please share.

I believe the last time a serious challenge was made to a sitting President, from within his own party was when Ted Kennedy tried to defeat Jimmy Carter in 1980..  The Country had  tired of Jimmy Carter early in his Presidency.  Kennedy tried to take advantage of the situation, but he drove his campaign off a bridge.  Carter survived the challenge but was defeated by Ronnie Reagan

Today's question, prediction is a better word.  Will Dr. DeJean's money start a viable drive to put Hillary in the White House, or should the doctor stick with fixing teeth?   If there's momentum, will Hillary change her mind about running, "For the Good of the Country"?

  1. Oops, kinda thinking November will be a clear and definitive mandate to the libs. They and those who put them in office are idiots. Oh for the days when all we had to worry about were layoffs in the WH travel group or infidelity.
