If this makes me a birther

*******************************
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Article II of the United States Constitution
******************************
Seems straight forward enough to me.  Unless you happen to be the only person in the world over the age of 220 you have to be a Natural Born US Citizen to be eligible to be president of the United States.
The Federal Elections Commission isn’t so sure, according to Alex Knot of Roll Call:
The Federal Election Commission ruled Friday that a Guyana-born American citizen could file papers and raise money to run for president of the United States. But the agency also told the prospective candidate, Abdul Hassan, that his campaign may not receive federal matching funds because he was not born in America.
The FEC’s unanimous vote allows Hassan — who born in the South American country in 1974 — to be a candidate, solicit funds and requires him to file disclosure reports for a presidential bid. However, the agency’s decision stopped short of addressing the constitutional issue of whether someone born outside the United States can be president.
Instead, the agency told Hassan he may not receive any presidential primary matching funds by quoting the Constitution, stating “[n]o Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
Hassan’s request appeared to put the FEC in the rare role of deciding a large constitutional issue that has only a few intersections with campaign finance law. The two commonly held constitutional requirements to run for president are that the candidate be 35 years of age or older and be a “natural born citizen.”

The Election Commission didn’t have any problem using the US Constitution to deny this guy Federal Assistance in his efforts I suppose that’s a positive sign, I’d have been real upset if the taxpayers ended up paying his legal bill to fight the obvious.  Or at least what seems obvious to me.  the FEC also pointed out rightly that it was up to the individual states to determine if a candidate meets the Constitutional requirements to be placed on the ballot. However, by registering him as a candidate they gave him some standing in the legal fight that’s coming up over this.
Abdul Hassan has already filed a lawsuit to nullify the phrase in the US Constitution that prevents him from running for office.
There’s something strange about this guy,,
There is only one photograph on his Official” Candidates Website.

I guess there is something to be said about a picture of any empty Oval Office.  It hasn’t been occupied much since out vacationer in chief took office.  What struck me as odd, is U could.t find a single photograph of our wannabe.  I checked a number of websites,  he’s managed to get some attention/
There’s something going on that smells,  A presidential Candidate that’s camera shy?
Who is paying the nillions it will cost to go to the Supreme cunt?
What organizations is he affliated with
How sure are we the documentation he used to get into the country.
Will the courts attempt to say to say the Constitution is Unconscionably?

"Underalls... Lacey Underalls" (A Tale of Two Lacey's)

Once upon a time there was a girl named, Lacey.

Lacey had everything she wanted: Money, fame, looks, and an uncle who would get her anything else she wanted, just as long as she 'behaved'.

It was a perfect life.  It was a good life.  It was a ficticious life.

Then one day, someone decided that Lacey was not good enough.  The changed Lacey.  They made her 'different' than she was.

They made her into...

This new version of Lacey was very different than the original Lacey.  Lacey's original attributes were gone.  All that was good, was corrupted, all that was attractive, well, you know...

The once beautiful, attractive, popular, and bra-less Lacey Underalls was no longer a beautiful flower shining among the thorns.

She had become...

The "doodie" in the pool.

Everyone OUT of the pool.

The End.

Gibson Guitar Raid
The Lacey Act

What is the U.S. Lacey Act and why is it important? (From the Lacey Act Site)
On May 22, 2008, the U.S. Congress passed a groundbreaking law banning commerce in illegally sourced plants and their products — including timber and wood products. The new law is an amendment to a 100-year-old statute, named the Lacey Act after the Congressman who first championed it.

While the Lacey Act has long been one of the most powerful tools for the U.S. agencies fighting wildlife crime, its potential to combat illegal logging remained untapped to date.

Now the Lacey Act sets a groundbreaking precedent for the global trade in plants and plant products, acknowledging and supporting other countries’ efforts to govern their own natural resources and putting in place powerful incentives for companies trading in these commodities to do the same.

Powerful Incentives?
Click on this to Expand It
From the Wall Street Journal Online:
It isn't just Gibson that is sweating. Musicians who play vintage guitars and other instruments made of environmentally protected materials are worried the authorities may be coming for them next.

If you are the lucky owner of a 1920s Martin guitar, it may well be made, in part, of Brazilian rosewood. Cross an international border with an instrument made of that now-restricted wood, and you better have correct and complete documentation proving the age of the instrument.

Otherwise, you could lose it to a zealous customs agent—not to mention face fines and prosecution.

...

Consider the recent experience of Pascal Vieillard, whose Atlanta-area company, A-440 Pianos, imported several antique Bösendorfers. Mr. Vieillard asked officials at the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species how to fill out the correct paperwork—which simply encouraged them to alert U.S. Customs to give his shipment added scrutiny.

There was never any question that the instruments were old enough to have grandfathered ivory keys. But Mr. Vieillard didn't have his paperwork straight when two-dozen federal agents came calling.

Facing criminal charges that might have put him in prison for years, Mr. Vieillard pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of violating the Lacey Act, and was handed a $17,500 fine and three years probation.

For more detail of the impact of the Lacey Act, please click HERE for the excellent article by Eric Felten referenced above.

Who supported the 2008 Amendment of the 100+ year old Lacey Act?

The usual suspects.

Oh, and it's nice to know that the United Steelworkers and International Brotherhood of Teamsters are so concerned about the environment...

You know, because they're so GREEN.

Bottom Line?  If you own a guitar, piano, picture frame, walking stick, chess set, George Washington's wooden teeth, or anything else made of organic materials for which you do not have a Bill of Materials?  Don't cross state lines, or attempt to travel internationally.

Even if it's been in your family for generations, it may end up living in a locked vault somewhere run with care by the U.S. Department the Interior's Fish and Wildlife's Department and you'll be taking a trip to the bank to get funding for anywhere between $250 and $250,000.

Maybe the Green Movement folks are correct?  Maybe we shouldn't drive ANYWHERE?  It could be very expensive.

Have a nice weekend folks, leave your wooden nickels at home this Labor Day Weekend...

Or else,

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!  Doodie!!!"

Your Federal Government, the proverbial "Doodie" in the pool.

Eat Up America!!!

Those Crazy Californians

I can't take credit for this but Washington Reporter did such a great job I felt I should pass it on. (guess it's a good thing I grabbed this, he's been banned on FL Today)

As if families in economically hard hit California aren't already struggling in the Obama economy.  Now the Democrats in the state legislature have passed a bill that will require folks who employ babysitters, housekeepers & care givers to also pay to provide workers comp, paid vacations, rest breaks, and meal breaks.

Their domestic help cannot work more than two hours straight, and a relief person must be brought in to provide the relief.

This places an undue burden on families with small children, and seniors who need help taking care of an ailing spouse, etc.

There is going to be a lot of new people joining the ranks of the unemployed as a result of this stupid law.

The cost of childcare is already prohibitively high for many families, and this will only make it harder for families to make ends meet.

None of these legitimate concerns bother the leftwing fringe.  The Nanny-staters believe they know best
.

It is a needless attack on families.

Babysitting bill in Calif. Legislature
August, 30 2011
Office of Sen. Doug LaMalfa
Special to The Union

How will parents react when they find out they will be expected to provide workers' compensation benefits, rest and meal breaks and paid vacation time for…babysitters? Dinner and a movie night may soon become much more complicated.

Assembly Bill 889 (authored by Assemblyman Tom Ammiano, D-San Francisco, will require these protections for all “domestic employees,” including nannies, housekeepers and caregivers.

The bill has already passed the Assembly and is quickly moving through the Senate with blanket support from the Democrat members that control both houses of the Legislature – and without the support of a single Republican member. Assuming the bill will easily clear its last couple of legislative hurdles, AB 889 will soon be on its way to the Governor's desk.

Under AB 889, household “employers” (aka “parents”) who hire a babysitter on a Friday night will be legally obligated to pay at least minimum wage to any sitter over the age of 18 (unless it is a family member), provide a substitute caregiver every two hours to cover rest and meal breaks, in addition to workers' compensation coverage, overtime pay, and a meticulously calculated timecard/paycheck.

Failure to abide by any of these provisions may result in a legal cause of action against the employer including cumulative penalties, attorneys' fees, legal costs and expenses associated with hiring expert witnesses, an unprecedented measure of legal recourse provided no other class of workers – from agricultural laborers to garment manufacturers. (On the bright side, language requiring an hour of paid vacation time for every 30 hours worked was amended out of the bill in the Senate.)

Unfortunately, the unreasonable costs and risks contained in this bill will discourage folks from hiring housekeepers, nannies and babysitters and increase the use of institutionalized care rather than allowing children, the sick or elderly to be cared for in their homes. I can't help but wonder if that is the goal of AB 889 – a terrible bill that needs to be stopped.

More information on the text and status of the bill can be accessed from my webpage at senate.ca.gov/lamalfa.

A letter from a 12 year old

Recently Sandra's been focusing on a couple children being forced to take standardized tests under the NCLB law and state regulations designed to enforce the law. The two children have complicated medical issues and were forced to take the tests, by the bureaucracy, in total disregard of medical opinion.

I have my own (legal) ideas about how to deal bureaucrats who'd intentionally harm a child to enforce poorly thought out regulation. I also have an opinion of NCLB and the proposed Obama/Gates/Bush Education Reform insanity...;best left for another time..

Getting back to where I belong..

***********************************

Meet  Anthony Herrea, the 12 year old at the center of one South Carolina family's objection to mandated standardized.  He wrote this, I suspect he had some help with the typing.  He wanted to tell people what's going on, and thank everyone for the support he and his family have been receiving from Sandra and others.

First of all I thank you for all you have done for me. The PASS test was horrible. They forced me to do the test and my blood went to 344. I never ate anything either so it was not my fault. I'm so grateful you are helping me out. I really am happy that something is being done. I have been hit by kids, made fun of, and embarrassed. My diabetes bag was called a purse, and once a kid took off his shoe and threw it at my head. Before I was taking a medicine that made me sleepy, so what happened? My teacher jerked me up by my arm and I had to stand in a corner, she then gave a kid that hates me a squirt gun. If I fell asleep I would be shot with it. I cried myself to sleep standing up. All my school life has been a living nightmare that was made for me. My mom put me in SCVCS so I'd be safe. I wasn't even safe there. This test is wrong for everyone not even LIKE me! No one should take this test! Why do they so called "need you to take it"? What is this for? Nothing! Zero! Again, thank you so much! Thank you God for everyone who is supporting me. Thank you again.

Anthony Herrera

********************************

In defense of the other kids-- that's what kids do, right or wrong it's instinctive for them to pick on another kid they perceive to be different..It's the job of parents, teachers, police officers or any other reasonably responsible adult who happens to be nearby to intervene.

WTF did this teacher do? She handed another kid a squirt gun and told him to use it on a child that already has difficulty coping.  What kind of sense does that make?   Add that teacher to the list of bureaucrats I mentioned before.  A teacher is at least supposed to have enough common sense and good judgement not to single out a child for special treatment..  It sounds like this one singled out one to be disciplined and another to administer the punishment...

The system that forces children like Anthony to be tested is No Child Left Behind..  Nice title, sounds harmless, but it's not... Each state had to create mandatory tests and testing procedures for all students, then the states sent the law to the local level to be applied..  Each level of government added something to the law..  By the time it left Washington, no one cared that the law would become almost universally hated, by the time it got to Anthony, no one cared what it might do to a child's health..  Teachers no longer teach the subject, or to students interests and capabilities, they teach to the "TEST"  It's gotten to the point school calender years are defined by the "TEST".

That's bullshit,

Tell you Representative in DC not to vote against reaffirming NCLB and bury it once and for all..  Tell them to put Obama's Educational Reform Proposals someplace where "the Sun don't Shine"

Constitutionally and Traditionally education is a local matter.  Tell your legislature to inform Washington they can shove their DC Bribe money and the crap that comes attached to it.. Next time your Governor, State Senator, or State House Representative tells you about how much money they got from DC for ___________ (fill in the blank). Ask what they sold DC in exchange for it.  As Rich Swier a Florida Blogger put it recently about the Florida Legislature " They sold our children's souls for 63 dollars apiece."

On a local level, odds are you can get the local School Board Member's email addresses in a matter of minutes.

If you're a blogger, you know what to do; Anthony's Mom needs the help.

For more information, you'll find it here and here

Crying Fowl

Look, here comes the Boogie Man...
Bringin' his Crow with him.

The Crow, 1994:  According to IMDb - A poetic guitarist Eric Draven is brought back to life by a crow a year after he and his fiancĂ©e are murdered. The crow guides him through the land of the living, and leads him to his killers: knife thrower Tin-tin, drugetic Funboy, car buff T-Bird, and the unsophisticated Skank.

One by one, Eric gives these thugs a taste of their own medicine.

Oops, so sorry, WRONG 'Crow'.

I came across an article at lunch today posted on WashingtonExaminer.com entitled, "Dem: Tea Party Reps want me "hanging from a tree".

Which was odd, because I don't remember anyone talking about hanging anyone from trees...  I'd better do some snooping to find out what's up.

And there it was, transcribed in black and white, online, a quote from Andre Carson, D-Ind,

"This is the effort that we're seeing of Jim Crow. Some of these folks in congress right now would love to see us as second class citizens. Some of them in Congress right now of this Tea Party movement would love to see you and me hanging on a tree." -  Andre Carson, D-Ind

Since I'm not old enough to remember 'Jim Crow' laws 'personally' (not to mention the fact that I was NOT paying  enough attention in History class), I've taken the liberty to look up the legislation.

Per Wikipedia:
In the 1870s, conservative white Democrats gradually returned to power in the Southern states, sometimes as a result of elections in which paramilitary groups intimidated opponents, attacking blacks or preventing them from voting.

Gubernatorial elections were close and disputed in Louisiana for years, with extreme violence unleashed during the campaigns.

In 1877, a national compromise to gain Southern support in the presidential election resulted in the last of the federal troops being withdrawn from the South. White Democrats had regained political power in every Southern state.

These conservative, white, Democratic Redeemer governments legislated Jim Crow laws, segregating black people from the white population.

...

In some cases, progressive measures intended to reduce election fraud, such as the eight box law in South Carolina, acted against black and white voters who were illiterate, as they could not follow the directions.

While the separation of African Americans from the general population was becoming legalized and formalized during the Progressive Era (1890s–1920s), it was also becoming customary. Even in cases in which Jim Crow laws did not expressly forbid black people to participate, for instance, in sports or recreation, the laws shaped a segregated culture.

Jumping ahead 130+ years, if you are to believe Mr. Carson, the White Democrats who passed this un-fair racial legislation are now...  TEA Party people?

Seriously?

How'd THIS happen?  And, if I'm not mistaken, Democrats have ALWAYS been supportive of Minority causes - so what's with the 'Hate' legislation back in the post-Civil War South?  How could history have gotten the story so completely wrong?

I know that Democratic leadership is all for supporting Blacks in this country - why else would Black leaders encourage their friends and families to vote 'Democrat' for the past 60+ years?

Did all these people not pay attention in their History class also - or is there something else going on?

It couldn't be because the Democratic Party has actually worked very hard to keep Blacks (sorry, this one's gonna sting, but it's the only way it's going to come out) 'In their place' could it?

A few weeks ago I posted a blog entitled, "The Late Great Society" which looked back at LBJ's Great Society.  Don't look too hard at the Great Society in daylight, because if you do, you'll see that Blacks, and other Minorities in this country, have had their standard of living decimated throughout the ensuing years.

It's NOT a nice picture to look at.  And yet, Blacks nationwide are encouraged by their local community leaders to continue their support of...  The people who have actively worked to keep THEM in poverty by destroying their families. Check out the charts referenced in the 'Late Great Society' quoted above - what's happened to Minority Citizens over the past sixty years is horrendous.

I don't get it.  I really, truly do not.

Getting back to the topic at hand, if we are to believe that TEA Party people want to 'Hang Mr. Carson from a tree', well, there must be proof, or evidence of this, somewhere, right?

Maybe if we watch and listen to the actual recording of Mr. Carson's speech, along with a few of his fellow Representatives in Congress we'll be able to sniff out the truth?

So what IS the truth?

From the Examiner article quoted above:
"The Washington Examiner contacted Rep. Carson's office to see if he would identify the particular members of Congress that he thinks want to see him murdered. Carson's office did not respond in time for this post.

Similarly, The Examiner also contacted Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Rep Steny Hoyer, D-Md., the second-ranking member of Democrat party leadership,  to hear their reactions to Rep. Carson's comments, but neither office returned requests for comment in time for this post.

Update: a subsequent attempt to reach Leader Pelosi has also failed, because her press secretary is "away from his desk." When The Examiner asked when he might be available or might respond, the response was "I don't know, that's at his discretion."

If you're looking for the quantifiable and documented sources of Racial hatred in our country, look no further than certain elected officials charged with upholding and faithfully discharging their Oath of Office while in service to their constituents.

In case haven't looked at it lately (this includes MOST in Congress), here it is in its entirety:

“I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Do you feel the people captured in the video / audio clip above are living up to this Oath?

For those who do not honor the commitment which they freely made in exchange for the honor of representing the citizens of their districts:

I will do whatever I can to assure that the burden and obligations of leadership are taken from them, at the ballot box.

So help me God.

Difference between me and them?

I keep my promises.  And I do not lie.

Green Pet Cleaning?

Hangin' With Lassie At the Spa
Bad Lassie, bad...

Two days ago I was looking for reference information on the Center for American Progress' website. Would I go there for any reason other than 'research'? No, I have a low threshold for pain.

I go there for the same reason that people find it impossible to look away when passing a particularly gruesome accident on I-95. You see the State Police car, the flashing lights, and think to yourself, "Holy cow, I'm glad that isn't... Me!" Then you say a quiet prayer for the passengers of the car and tell yourself that you need to be more careful driving - moments later you silently mouth the words, "Dear Lord, don't let THAT happen to me... Oh, and let them be okay too."

So, the experience was surreal as always, but I continue to be amazed by the uniqueness of the people I find posting 'stuff' over 'there'.

I came across an article entitled: It's Easy Being Green: Earth-Friendly Pet Care The post, surprisingly enough, includes options on how to 'Clean Your Pet in an Earth-Friendly Manner'.

No!

Really! It was, and continues to be, about home pet tips which are 'Green' for cleaning your pet...

Yeah. You got it.

Yes, YOU may not be maintaining your pet's 'parts' properly / greenly. Why ask your licensed Veterinarian about basic pet cleaning needs when you can go straight to an Earth-Friendly Website?

Let's see what we can learn, um, about Washing Your Pet!

Excerpted from the site...

  • Baking soda: Baking soda’s greatest property is its ability to soak up stink. Sprinkle it on carpets, rugs, and your pet’s bed or favorite snuggling blanket, let it stand for 15 minutes, and then give the treated areas a good vacuuming to remove lingering odors.
  • Vinegar: Vinegar is another wonder deodorizer as it’s both a solvent and antibacterial. If your pet has an accident inside, use a white vinegar and warm water solution to remove the lingering smell, which will discourage future accidents in the same place.
  • Other options: Further nontoxic products that can be used to clean up various pet-related messes include salt, which can be used to remove hard water stains in fish tanks and aquariums (remember to rinse with fresh water afterward); and club soda, lemon juice, and cream of tartar, all of which can be used to treat stains (use a paste of lemon juice and cream of tartar for best results).
SUPER! Now we know how to clean our pooches, deodorize urine, AND scrub the inside of our fishy tanks!!!

But, I thought that this was meant to be an Earth Friendly post?

How did all the corporate greed, air / soil / water pollution, AND carbon-footprints get in here? Sheesh, I thought they were going to tell us to go out the stream in the back yard, position your dog across a large flat rock in the stream, toss water and BBQ ashes upon the pet and then beat the large panting animal briskly with a large stick until it is clean (roughly six minutes).

Oops, sorry, I got confused, that's how we do laundry at our house. Silly me! Unfortunately the people downstream from us do not appreciate the amount of hair, ash, and dark fluids which stain their clothing as they beat their laundry on the rock next to their home. Phew, am I glad I live near the TOP of the hill and not at the bottom!

Okay, so here are my concerns with the above 'Green Solutions' for pet maintenance:

BAKING SODA
Because the synthetic process used in the Solvay method presented some pollution problems, Church & Dwight Co. Inc. is basing more and more of its manufacturing on trona mining. Another large producer of soda ash, the FMC Corporation, also relies on trona to manufacture soda ash and sodium bicarbonate.

Trona is mined at 1,500 feet (457.2 meters) below the surface. FMC's mine shafts contain nearly 2,500 (4,022.5 kilometers) miles of tunnels and cover 24 square miles (62 square kilometers). Fifteen feet (4.57 meters) wide and nine feet (2.74 meters) tall, these tunnels allow the necessary equipment and vehicles to travel through them.

WHAT!?!? Baking soda is mined 1,500 feet below the surface of the Earth, diesel-equipment is used to transport the raw materials up to the surface AND then it's processed [GASP!] -- Chemically?!?!

Yes, it is.

For the entire process, you can click here: How baking soda is made

Green solution my rump! Baking soda is an EARTH KILLING agent invented by Republicans hundreds of years ago to destroy the sanctity of our planet. Evil, money-grubbing, Republicans lining their pockets with their ill-gotten Baking Soda 'mined-on-the-backs-of-the-poorest-Americans' gains!

How can THIS be an Earth-friendly post? Who did THEY get to to write this blasphemy!?!?

Oh, yeah, and then they write, "then give the treated areas a good vacuuming to remove lingering odors." A vacuum cleaner which is powered by carbon-footprint-laden ELECTRICITY!

What in the heck is going on!?!?!

This REEKS of Dick Cheney. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Earth haters!!!

VINEGAR
The use of vinegar to flavor food is centuries old. It has also been used as a medicine, a corrosive agent, and as a preservative. In the Middle Ages, alchemists poured vinegar onto lead in order to create lead acetate. Called "sugar of lead," it was added to sour cider until it became clear that ingesting the sweetened cider proved deadly.

By the Renaissance era, vinegar-making was a lucrative business in France. Flavored with pepper, clovers, roses, fennel, and raspberries, the country was producing close to 150 scented and flavored vinegars. Production of vinegar was also burgeoning in Great Britain. It became so profitable that a 1673 Act of Parliament established a tax on so-called vinegar-beer.

HUH?!?! "Called "sugar of lead," it was added to sour cider until it became clear that ingesting the sweetened cider proved deadly." Let me get this straight, this Earth-Friendly product is CORROSIVE and POISONOUS?!?! And they want me to put it into my pet's ears AND onto the carpeted surfaces of my home?

Oh no, I don't think so! I was born at night, but it wasn't LAST night! The only redeeming feature of vinegar is that it was Taxed by Parliament in 1673. Yeah, I'm all for taxing hazardous materials and the rich corporations who manufacture them! This will help people be safe! Just like the cigarette taxes the Fed's been collecting for years - making Cancers... Darn near 'Extinct'!

But you will not find me forcibly putting corrosive poisons into my pet's ears - especially not after that horrific beating she took on the rock in the stream in the back yard...

Not me buddy. Find yourself another 'Earth-Firster' to do this to their dog, not mine.

Dirtbag corporations selling corrosive poison to unsuspecting Americans for PROFITS!!!

"Bush, where are YOU, Bush!?!? I smell you all over this 'vinegar-poisoning-American-pets-everywhere. thing!!!"

OTHER OPTIONS (a.k.a.: Salt)
Salt is obtained from two sources: rock salt and brine. Rock salt is simply crystallized salt, also known as halite. It is the result of the evaporation of ancient oceans millions of years ago. Large deposits of rock salt are found in the United States, Canada, Germany, eastern Europe, and China.

Underground salt deposits are usually discovered by prospectors searching for water or oil. When salt is detected, a diamond-tipped, hollow drill is used to take several regularly spaced core samples throughout the area. These samples are analyzed to determine if salt mining would be profitable.

Once again, the purveyors of 'Salt' have infiltrated the Green Movement. Who knew that salt is discovered by Rich Multi-National Corporations drilling for oil and water? They drill down to the very heart of Mother Earth and biopsy her flesh looking for unconscionable PROFITS.

I can't go on, this supposedly 'Green Pet Maintenance' story reeks of Capitalistic Greed, Evil Corporations and Earth 'Rape'.

"What do you think Frisky, oh cat o' mine? What do you think about these 'supposed' Earth-Lovers hurting our MOTHER EARTH!?!?"

"Very well then Frisky, let's prepare to moo-ve on to something else for tomorrow."

It's hard to believe that so many Americans continue to fall for the 'Failed policies of the past' when it comes to washing their dogs' 'bits'.

Green Pet cleaning - indeed!

That's it, nothing more to see here... Well, almost nothing...

"Please don't kill Mother Earth. Please?
I'm so afraid..."

"We're So Sorry, Uncle Omar"

Onyango 'Omar' Obama
Excerpted from Boston.com:
FRAMINGHAM - The uncle of President Obama arrested here last week on drunken driving and other charges has been a fugitive from deportation since 1992, according to two federal law enforcement officials with knowledge of the case.

Onyango Obama, who is from Kenya and is known as the president's Uncle Omar on his father's side, had lived a quiet life in Massachusetts until last Wednesday, when police said the car he was driving darted in front of a police cruiser, nearly causing the officer to hit his car...
...
Onyango Obama's sister, Zeituni Onyango, also faced deportation before a Boston immigration judge granted her asylum last year. She, too, had avoided the spotlight, living in public housing in South Boston despite a deportation order...

What Is "Generation Y" ?

I've always wondered this myself... and now I know !

People born before 1946 were called The Silent Generation.

The Baby Boomers are those born between 1946 and 1959.

Generation X people have been born between 1960 and 1979.

Generation Y were born between 1980 and 2010

Why do we call the last group Generation Y ?

Y should I get a job ?
Y should I leave home and find my own place ?
Y should I get a car when I can borrow yours ?
Y should I clean my room ?
Y should I wash and iron my own clothes ?
Y should I buy any food ?

A cartoonist explained it very eloquently below...
